About me:

Lisa Shapiro RVN

I have always loved animals and had a variety of pets growing up and throughout my adult years. I started working as a veterinary nurse in 2003, I qualified and completed 10 years at a local veterinary hospital working my way up to becoming head nurse. I started up my small pet boarding company as I wanted to be able to do something I love whilst at the same time be able to be around for my children.

Caring for your pet:

I understand how worrying it is leaving your pet to go on holiday. You can’t fully relax and enjoy your holiday unless you know your pet is being well cared for. Please be rest assured I look after all my boarders as if they were my own. Alongside the obvious feeding and cleaning accommodation, I understand the importance of attention and space to run/hop and explore. I am passionate about caring for animals and am more than capable of administering any medication if needed.

Health and hygiene:

All rabbits must be fully vaccinated against Myxomatosis, VHD and RVHD2 before their stay.

Vaccination certificates must be uploaded to your booking profile or shown upon arrival.

All hutches are cleaned daily and fresh food and water is provided to fit in with their normal feeding routine.

All hutches and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guest stays.

Any medication can be administered, please bring with any medication needed.

I have a close relationship with a local veterinary hospital but am happy to use your own vets if it is local should this be required.
